Vilhjálmur Árnason

Vilhjálmur Árnason (2012–2020) is Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Centre for Ethics, School of Humanities, University of Iceland, ICELAND. He is a Fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung, Germany, Life member of Clare Hall, Cambridge, UK, and of Fondation Brocher, Switzerland. He is chair of the Nordic-Baltic Network of the Philosophy of Medicine and Medical Ethics. His current research focuses on methods in bioethics and the use of genetic information in research and health care.
